Lectures and celebration of festivals on Sacred days

The general features of the celebrations of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda are: special worship, homa, chanting from scriptural texts, bhajan and sankirtan, lectures by the Adhyaksha/sannyasin of the center and other eminent speakers, distribution of prasad to devotees.

Special pujas on all Hindu Festivals, Christmas Eve, Ekadasi and on the birthdays of the Direct Disciples of SriRamakrishna

A non-formal education center for 100 deprived children, where children are given coaching in school subjects along with nutritious food

The children are exposed to chanting, playing etc. Universal prayers are taught to instill national integration and to encourage holistic living. The children are also guided to practice meditation and yoga under the guidance of competent teachers.

Distribution of textbooks, scholarships, etc to about 700 poor students and pecuniary aid to the needy

Distribution of clothes to the poor in the tribal and rural areas in collaboration with Belur Math and ITC.
